Yay, you’re here!

Here at VMPT Well we have cut out the middleman to allow for direct to consumer, specialty healthcare access.

You are special. You are loved. And you should be treated as such.

Vanessa worked locally in the corporate hospital based healthcare industry and was disheartened by much of what she saw. She used this as the inspiration to create VMPT Well. In healthcare you should have choices, the focus should be on you, and you should most definitely know the cost of the services you are engaging.

Here at VMPT Well there will be no surprise bills, no “hospital” up charge costs that you were not expecting. Just you and your therapist, one-on-one, working towards your goals in a cost effective and efficient manner.

 Holy moly!

Dr. Cristina Jesurun PT, DPT - Physical Therapist

Dr. Jesurun earned a degree in Dance and a degree in English at the University of Texas in Austin. She later attended Lauterstein-Conway Massage School while she continued to live, work, choreograph and perform in Austin. After several years she moved to New York City, continuing to work and dance. Cristina had practiced yoga for years, studied Pilates in the dance department in undergrad and of course, danced all her life. Not too long after, Cristina decided to get certified to teach Pilates so she could quit her office job and teach Pilates while she went back to school to become a physical therapist.

After teaching Pilates for 6 years, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hunter College, and working in outpatient orthopedics in New York City, Cristina moved back to Austin in 2017. She continued to practice in outpatient orthopedics with a focus on manual therapy and joined VMPT Well in 2021. She loves integrating Pilates into her treatments and working with patients one-on-one at VMPT Well.

In her free time, Cristina still dances and performs in Austin, practices yoga, enjoys hiking, and running/trail running.
